Students are invited to celebrate the following Sacraments at St Mary's.
Reconciliation in Year 3
Eucharist in Year 4
Confirmation in Year 6
#For 2022 Year 3 and Year 4 students (and parish children) will both have the opportunity to make the Sacrament of Reconciliation and then 2023 onwards we will follow the above order.
It is important that the children are baptised first if they are wishing to celebrate one or all of these Sacraments. If you would like your child to be baptised please contact the Parish Office on 9510 7744 to arrange a meeting with Fr Jerome Santamaria.

God’s love and presence are made real and celebrated in the Sacraments. Important times and experiences in our lives are celebrated and enlivened by God’s presence. Each Sacrament signifies, in a particular way, the transforming love of God and the new life which Jesus Christ brings.
St Mary’s celebrates the Sacrament of Penance (Reconciliation) in Year 3, the Sacrament of Eucharist in Year 4 and the Sacrament of Confirmation in Year 6. Each Sacrament is planned and organised in collaboration with the Parish Priest, Principal, parish community, Religious Education Leader and class teachers.
Preparation for the Sacraments is school based and takes place in Faith Based Inquiry lessons. Commitment Masses, Family Faith Nights and Spirit Filled Days are all important aspects of our Sacramental Program. Catholic students who attend government or private schools in the local area are welcomed into the program.
